The sun is shining

Finally a sunny day in Houston. It feels like it has been raining for 3 months straight. At least the weather held up for Bill & April's pool party. Brooke had a blast playing in the pool with Daddy.

I shouldn't be left alone

Today I left Brooke at home with Joe to run some errands. This was not what she looked like when I left. Joe even called Wendy and my Dad to ask what he should do. She took a pretty hard fall and ended up with 2 giant bumps to the forehead and a bloody lip.

Splish Splash

Wendy and I took Brooke and Ben to the splashpad in Cypress Creek Lakes!! As you can see they had lots of fun once they got used to the water.

We will definately be back.

Florida Trip

For July 4th we went to Myakka, Florida to visit Joe's friend John. The plane ride over was really long and I was very happy to be out of the airport. Brooke loved the beach, eventually, although she did not want to put her feet in the sand. She had to have her shoes on at all times. Once she finally got the hang of the waves, she loved playing in the surf. We also took her to the Aquarium in Sarasota and she loved looking at all the "fishies." I know that she will have a great time in November when we go to Grand Cayman.
