Superheroes to the rescue

Brooke and Joe were flying around the house today in their superhero capes. They are off to save the world.

Brooke-in-the-box

Somehow, Brooke got herself all the way into the lego box and wanted Daddy to carry her around the house.

Chef Brooke

Brooke still loves her kitchen that she got for her birthday. Now she really likes to dress up in her chef's outfit and cook. Her favorite thing to cook is soup, especially when Daddy is feeling bad. She will tell him to eat some soup to make him feel better.

Happy Easter

We spent Easter weith Poppy, Yia Yia, Mom Mom, Papa, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Gina & Brock. The kids had a great time hunting for Easter eggs. I just threw a bunch in the yard for Brock to pick up, but Brooke was just too fast for him. Brooke's basket got too heavy for her the carry at the end so she was running to Daddy to give him the eggs.

Dying Easter Eggs

We went to Poppy and Yia Yia's to dye Easter eggs and boy am I glad that we were outside. It sure was messy, but the kids had a great time. Ben spilled a couple of colors and they thought it was better to just throw the eggs in the cups, but they sure had fun doing it. Thank goodness Brock was sleeping. We needed the extra pair of hands.

The Easter Bunny

We saw the Easter Bunny today and Brooke wasn't afraid at all. Ben seemed to be the one that was a little aprehensive. She was waving ang talking to him while we were waiting in line. What a difference a year makes. Last year she was terrified and I have no picture.

WE WANT FOOD!!!

I asked the kids today if they were ready for lunch and they both sat down at the table and started banging like they were starving. They stopped long enough to say cheese for the picture.

My new hat

I have been trying to teach Brooke to dress and undress herself and it seems to be going pretty well. However, she loves to run around with her shirt on her head as a hat.

Houston Livestock Show

We tooke Brooke and Ben to the rodeo today and they got to see all kinds of animals. They loved playing in the big tractor. Brooke said it was just like Uncle Gus's (that's Uncle Steve for those of you that don't know Brooke-speak). Her favorite part was definately the pony ride. Ben cried when he had to get off.
