It's a boy!!

It's official!! WE had my ultrasound this morning and there is no question that I am having a boy. Brooke is very cited about having a liddle brudder (little brother).

Hot Summer Day

Okay, so it's really springtime, but Brooke doesn't know the difference. She thinks that anytime it's warm enough to go outside, it's a hot summer day.

I want green ice cream

We went to the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham for their tour. Although the kids could are less about the tour. They sure did love the ice cream at the end. About halfway thru the tour, Brooke started shouting that she wanted green ice cream. Don't know where she ever had it before but she sure did love it.

Bad Hair Day

We went to McDonalds for Mykala's birthday and as always, Brooke loves to play with Genna and Aubrey in the playground. She would go around and around in the play area and everytime she slid down the slide, her hair would get more staticy. We all laughed everytime she got to the end of the slide.

All by myself!

Today was Mykala's birthday, so we make a cake for her. Brooke loved to stir and everytime I would try to take away the spoon, she would tell me, "Mommy, I can stir all by myself!" She was much better at licking the spoon than actually icing the cake.

Is that Daddy under there?

I came out of the office today to find Joe and Brooke sitting on the couch watching cartoons. Brooke likes to carry around Elmo, Thumper, and 2 blankets. Today she decided that she needed Goofy and Toodles too. Joe was buried beneath all of this on the couch with her sleeping. I guess it truly is a Dad thing to watch TV with your eyes closed.

The dreaded potty training

This week we have been working on potty training and believe me it is not fun. After 5 pairs of wet panties, I decided that Brooke needed to go from diapers to pull-ups first. Finally on Saturday, she told me before she needed to go and has had a few accidents since, but she doing much better. Maybe next week we will try big girl panties again.
